Frequently Asked Questions and Usage Tips
Instructions
on Opening Your Account
Your Global Xchange account gets set up
automatically the first time you get paid a commission. At that time, you will
receive an e-mail from
(clientname)@globalxchange.net that includes
instructions on how to setup your password, open your account and receive your
commission. If you do not get this e-mail and know you should have received a
commission, please contact your affiliated company’s support department to
be sure that they sent you a commission.
If they have and you cannot find the
e-mail sent by our system to help you open your account, please fill in the form
at
www.globalxchange.biz/registration.htm and we
will assist you in getting your account open. Once you fill in this form, we
will send you an e-mail from
sales@globalxchange.biz, usually within 1
business day, to assist you in opening your account and obtaining your
commission.
What are the
Limits on My Global Xchange Card?
You can load up
to $2,500.00 USD per day and $9,700.00 per month onto your Global Xchange card.
The maximum daily withdrawal limit for the card is set at $2,500.00 per day and
$1,000.00 per transaction. Please note that some ATM machines may not let you
withdraw the full $1,000.00 per transactions – local banks and ATM machine
owners have the right to set their own withdrawal maximums which supersede our
set limits.
What Rules Apply
to My Password and Log-In?
When selecting your password, please
note that it must be at least six characters long and we recommend that it contain at least one
“shift numeric” in it – such as a: !, @, #, $, %, etc. FYI – All e-mail addresses in our system are stored in
lower case – remember this when logging into your account using your e-mail
address. You can log-in to your account using either your IGX Account ID or
E-mail address.

Using Your E-mail Address with IGX
Your commission gets paid to the E-mail
address you have listed in your affiliated company’s back-office Profile. Please
remember that if you change your e-mail address in your back office profile, you
need to also change it in your Global Xchange account as you will now get paid
to the new e-mail address. If you had an existing IGX account with one e-mail
address and you do not update your address in the IGX system when you update
your back office one, you will end up with two IGX accounts as you get paid
future commissions.
Global Xchange Card International Assessment Fee
This fee is the currency conversion
surcharge charged by Visa and Mastercard for managing the currency conversion on
your transaction at an ATM machine. This charge never used to appear on
statements – it was “bundled” in with the Withdrawal amount in the past but
recent legislation has required that this charge be shown separately on ATM card
usage/activity statements.
How and Where to Use Your Global Xchange ATM Debit Cards
Global Xchange cards can be used at most
ATM machines installed at Bank locations around the world. Look for either the “Cirrus”
or "Maestro" signs on the ATM machine to see if your card will work there. Note: In certain
instances, your card will not work at a machine displaying the “Plus” sign. This
is because this may be a PLUS “Regional” as opposed to an “International”
machine. To find out where your cards are usable in your country, please go to
www.mastercard.com, select Canada for your country
and then find the ATM locator. Use it to find ATM machines in your country near
you where the card can be used.
To use your card at an ATM machine,
please remove funds from the Checking Account or the first account selection
offered by the ATM machine software if Checking Account is not displayed. Our
cards are attached the Checking Account in our system. Also, to minimize your
usage costs with the card, do not use the Balance Inquiry feature at an ATM
machine – you will get charged an additional $4.50 transaction fee for this
service. Access your card online instead to review
your balances as there are no charges incurred there for doing so.
Using the Remove Funds Feature
After you receive your e-mail with your
commission notification and accept your funds, you may choose to move your money
to your personal bank account. Make sure that when doing this that you enter
your bank Routing Code, Account Number and Name exactly as they appear on your
bank statement otherwise your bank may not accept this transaction. Remove Funds
transactions usually reach your bank within 2-3 business days.
The Government ID Field in Your IGX Profile
You use this field to enter any
government issued ID number you choose that will help to help identify you if
you forget a password or lose a card or something in the future and need to
identify yourself to us. You want to put in some number that somehow identifies
you and that you will remember. We are multi- country - so use whatever you
might have. Social Security Number, Health number, passport number, birth
certificate, etc. If in your country you are not issued any form of Government
ID number at all, enter a number that you can remember that has meaning to you.
Having Trouble Accessing Your IGX Account?
You can use your e-mail address as your
Account ID to login to your account at our login page,
https://www.globalxchange.net. Also on that page you can use the Forgot
Password feature to create a new password for yourself. Just press the Forgot
Password button and follow the instructions. Remember that each password must be
at least 6 characters long and should contain at least one shift character in it –
such as a !, @, #, $, %, etc. If you still cannot get in, please send an e-mail
to
support@globalxchange.biz for further
assistance.
